How to bring a copyright concern to our attention.

Report a copyright concern

Housealong.com respects intellectual property. If you believe material on this website infringes a copyright you own or are authorized to represent, submit a clear notice using our copyright contact form. This page provides a complaint process and does not represent that a designated agent has been registered with the U.S. Copyright Office.

What to include in your notice

  1. Your name and usable contact information.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work, or a representative list of works.
  3. The exact website URL and a description of the material you believe infringes.
  4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or law.
  5. A statement that your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you own the copyright or are authorized to act for its owner.
  6. Your physical or electronic signature; a typed full name may serve as your electronic signature.

Please consider lawful uses, including fair use, before sending a notice. Knowingly misrepresenting infringement can have legal consequences.

After a notice is received

We review the notice, may ask for more information, and may restrict or remove material where appropriate. If your own submission has been affected and you believe there was a mistake, contact us with the relevant reference and explanation. We will identify any applicable response process; this page does not replace the requirements for a statutory notice or counter-notice.
