What does Housealong mean?
Housealong brings together “house” and “along”: a place to call home, and people who walk alongside the journey. Our education connects the property owner’s choices, the future buyer’s preparation, and the Ownership Guide’s responsibility to follow through. Housealong is our brand and approach; the underlying agreements are still lease options, with their own costs, rights, deadlines, and risks.
What is a lease option?
A lease option generally combines a rental agreement with a separate right to purchase the property within an agreed period and under agreed terms. Renting the home does not itself transfer ownership. The details, costs, responsibilities, and consequences depend on the agreement and applicable law.
Which course should I start with?
Housealong Exits is for sellers and landlords comparing ways forward. Housealong Keys is for tenant-buyers preparing for homeownership. Housealong Doors is for investors and aspiring Ownership Guides learning to support both sides.
Are the courses really free?
Yes. These three educational video courses are planned to be free to watch when released. The videos are currently in development. “Free” refers to the courses; it does not mean a property, option agreement, or professional service is free.
Can I watch the webinar lessons now?
The webinar videos are coming soon. You can explore the course introductions and learning topics now. Release information will appear on each course page as lessons become available.
Does Housealong guarantee I’ll buy or sell a home?
No. Education and preparation can support better decisions, but a future purchase depends on the property, agreement, financing, and individual circumstances. A lender determines mortgage eligibility. No course guarantees a purchase, sale, loan approval, or investment return.
Is an Ownership Guide the same as a lender or an agent?
No. Ownership Guide describes a support role within the Housealong approach. It is not a professional license. A guide’s permitted activities depend on actual qualifications and local requirements. The role does not replace an attorney, licensed real estate professional, lender, or other qualified specialist.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER
A personal journey.
A bigger purpose.
Godric’s path began in Charlotte, North Carolina, and took him through Army service in Kandahar, Afghanistan. After leaving the military, he navigated divorce, fatherhood, and the challenge of rebuilding his life.
Entrepreneurship brought setbacks, including a summer sleeping in his car. He spent his days studying real estate and looking for a way forward. Discovering lease options changed the conversation: could a property owner’s next chapter also create an opportunity for a future homeowner?
Housealong grows from that question. The name joins the home people are working toward with the commitment to walk alongside them. Its mission is to teach a more responsible process—with clear expectations, practical preparation, accountability, and qualified professional support.
