YOUR CONTRIBUTION
Why this role matters
Responsible capital relationships depend on clear expectations, complete information, and respect for professional boundaries. This planned role would support communication and diligence around the resources needed for Housealong.com's model. The work would begin with a documented review of the proposed structure, permitted activities, and supervision. The familiar label “capital raiser” does not establish permission to solicit investments. You would help the appropriate decision-makers stay informed while ensuring risks, uncertainties, and participant-support obligations remain part of the conversation.
What you would own
Help document the proposed capital workflow with the founder, qualified counsel, and any required licensed professionals before relationship or offering activity begins.
Maintain accurate relationship records, approved contact preferences, meeting notes, and requests within the scope counsel has confirmed is permitted.
Coordinate approved factual company updates and diligence materials, checking that figures are sourced and assumptions, risks, and dates are visible.
Organize questions for the person authorized to answer them; track responses without improvising investment recommendations or offering terms.
Manage secure information access, approved meeting logistics, and follow-up responsibilities while preserving a clear record of what was shared.
Surface discrepancies, potential conflicts, outdated materials, and unanswered concerns before communications or decisions proceed.
What good work looks like
Activity records stay within the documented permitted scope and show prompt escalation of questions outside it.
Diligence materials reconcile to approved sources and disclose relevant assumptions, risks, and limitations.
Relationship questions and promised follow-ups have accountable owners and a traceable resolution.
Communication reviews show factual consistency, appropriate approvals, and correction of outdated or unsupported statements.
What you would bring
Clear financial communication that distinguishes facts, estimates, and unanswered questions.
Relationship management grounded in reliability and professional discretion.
Diligence organization, careful recordkeeping, and secure document handling.
Ability to recognize conflicts, exaggerated claims, and requests outside an approved scope.
Comfort working with counsel and licensed professionals and pausing when authority is uncertain.

A CONVERSATION ABOUT THE WORK
A contact asks for a commitment today.
FICTIONAL DISCUSSION EXERCISE
In this fictional discussion exercise, a contact reads a sample company update and asks you to reserve an investment, promise a return, and send wiring instructions immediately. The update contains an outdated projection, and the proposed structure has not completed counsel review. Explain how you would respond, correct the information, and involve the right reviewers. Draft a short internal issue note that separates facts from assumptions and records the follow-up needed. We would discuss your judgment and communication; no prospect research, investor contact, solicitation, offering document, or real fundraising work is requested.
This is an example for discussion—not a request to contact a real customer or complete unpaid client work.
The boundaries that protect the work
Do not solicit, recommend, negotiate, or execute securities transactions without the required registration, lawful basis, supervision, and specific authorization; a job title or counsel-reviewed script alone is insufficient.
Do not promise returns, principal protection, liquidity, or funding availability, and do not assume compensation may be tied to investment transactions.
Do not accept commitments, take custody of investor funds or securities, or issue payment instructions; route transaction steps to authorized professionals under the approved structure.
